Requirements & Onboarding Process

Background Checks

All employees undergo comprehensive background checks to ensure safety and compliance with state regulations.

Chapter 611 Caregiver Competency

As required by Pennsylvania Chapter 611, all caregivers must demonstrate competency in providing safe, quality care. We provide comprehensive training to meet these standards.

Monthly Exclusion Checks

We conduct monthly checks against federal and state exclusion lists to ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements.

Comprehensive Training

New hires receive extensive training in person-centered care, safety protocols, communication, and company policies before working independently.

Available Positions

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Provide comprehensive support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • •Assist with daily living activities and personal care
  • •Support community participation and independence
  • •Implement individual support plans (ISPs)
  • •Provide transportation as needed
  • •Maintain accurate documentation
  • •Ensure health and safety at all times

Requirements:

  • •18 years or older
  • •Valid driver's license (preferred)
  • •CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)

Companion

Provide non-medical supervision and emotional support with community activities.

  • •Excellent documentation abilities
Office Admin / Scheduler

Support agency operations through administrative and scheduling support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • •Answer phones and manage emails professionally
  • •Schedule staff shifts and manage scheduling system
  • •Maintain compliance documentation and files
  • •Support agency leadership
  • •Process applications and paperwork

Requirements:

  • •High school diploma or equivalent
  • •Strong organizational skills
  • •Proficiency with computer systems
  • •Excellent communication
  • •Attention to detail
Program Manager / Supervisor

Oversee care teams and ensure compliance with agency and state policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • •Oversee and supervise Direct Support Professionals
  • •Conduct staff evaluations and performance reviews
  • •Maintain compliance with ODP and agency policies
  • •Review progress notes and care plans
  • •Coordinate with families and support coordinators
  • •Training and staff development

Requirements:

  • •Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field (preferred)
  • •Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience
  • •Knowledge of PA home care regulations
  • •Strong leadership and communication skills
  • •Commitment to person-centered care
